The service at Get Uncomfy really is at a personalized level. The team received some high level thoughts and curated an amazing trip, customized with a “choose-your-own-adventure” itinerary. It allowed us to explore within a set guideline without being so rigid. The suggestions of vineyards and restaurants in Sonoma were really impeccable, and to the point that I am now a quarterly wine member of one of them (no kickbacks to Get Uncomfy)! The materials provided were interactive and served as a constant reference for ourselves as we went about the weekend, acting as a fun guide chirping in suggestions as we meandered. Get Uncomfy was a complete load off of us to plan our own trip as it was bolted on to coincidental business trips, and I really couldn’t recommend the service more.

Get Uncomfy, what an experience! I have used them twice now. Shannon helped plan my amazing solo trips to Ireland and Japan. What I believe sets Get Uncomfy apart from others is the personalized touch. You start out figuring out what level of customization you want with Shannon herself. Then, the magic happens. Shannon begins to build your personal adventure. Her communication through the whole process is like no other, as you can bounce different ideas off of her while she is building it out. The hotel and restaurant suggestions were all great. You can choose a set schedule or a more laid back approach. She will also recommend booking ahead and how, if there is an activity that is very popular. Honestly, for someone that doesn’t have the time to do the planning and research myself, this was perfect. I land and know exactly where to go and what I’m doing by pulling up my personal adventure packet. It couldn’t be any easier.

When it came to planning my honeymoon in Bali, I was a bit overwhelmed by post-wedding decision fatigue, as well as the endless ideas I was finding online. Shannon did an amazing job of getting a sense of what we were looking for and how “uncomfy” we wanted to get. It felt like a collaborative effort (where she was doing the legwork that I felt too overwhelmed to take on). She provided a variety of accommodation options at different price points for each leg of the trip so that we could decide where we wanted to splurge. The planning process was enjoyable, and the trip document she created was incredibly helpful. Shannon did a fantastic job helping our family plan our 10-day trip to Japan! She took the time to listen to our goals, what we wanted to do (and what we didn’t!), and asked thoughtful, detailed questions to craft an itinerary that hit on all our top priorities. Her pre-trip activity guidance was really helpful, as well, reminding us in the months before our trip to register for attraction and activity ticket lotteries, including tickets to a sold-out sumo tournament!
